Steven Rouse offers years of Alternative Dispute Resolution experience with specialization in mediation in Kentucky. He has provided hundreds of hours of mediation experience in the Fayette County (KY) courts.

Because of his skills developed as a licensed attorney, experienced mediator, and passionate educator, Steven understands the importance of listening to his clients and understanding their needs.

In addition to a thriving mediation practice, Steven also teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation at the University of Kentucky’s J. David Rosenberg School of Law, a position he has enjoyed for over 10 years. In his role as an educator, he has supervised hundreds of hours of mediation, arbitration, and negotiation practicum for the Commonwealth’s future attorneys.

Steven is a magna cum laude graduate of Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, and he also holds degrees from the University of Illinois. He was a litigator at Jenner and Block in Chicago and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sharon Lovelace Blackburn, then-chief federal judge of the Northern District of Alabama.

He lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife, Julie, and their two children.
